Located near Sifang Street in the ancient town of Xizhou, the Yanjia Courtyard is dominated by Bai courtyards and shows the characteristics of the Bai people's residence. The Yanjia Courtyard is itself a very old residential area of the Bai ethnic group. There are several courtyards, exquisite wall paintings, and colorful paintings. It is a wonderful place to learn about the architectural culture of the Bai people with its missing corners, patios, and fences.
