Description

Dali Cangshan Botanical Garden is located in the picturesque Cang'er rural scenery area, with Cangshan Mountain to the west and Erhai Lake to the east, covering an area of 125 acres. It is currently a demonstration base for the production of woody flowers such as camellia and alpine azalea. After nearly 30 years of careful construction, the botanical garden has grown from an early seedling cultivation base to a modern agricultural estate that integrates rare woody flower displays, classical landscape gardens, and agricultural leisure experience and sightseeing. It is a gathering garden of Dali's "wind, flowers, snow, and moon". The plants in the garden are lush and green, and the natural environment is quiet and pleasant. The romantic scenery of "garden in flowers, flowers in the garden" is displayed everywhere. The International Camellia Conference Organizing Committee once designated Cangshan Botanical Garden as the designated venue for the 2016 International Camellia Expo.
