Erhai Gate is one of the four main gates of Dali Old Town, located on the east side of the old city. It is a landmark structure within Dali Old Town and has already become part of the main commercial pedestrian street. After passing through Erhai Gate, you will enter Renmin Road. The street is filled with old quaint shops, along with convenient options for accommodation and entertainment. There is also a part of the city wall attached to Erhai Gate. Standing on it, you can get a good view of the old town. At night, there will be singing performances near the gate, making it a good place to take a walk after a meal.
