Chongsheng Temple in Dali is located about 1 km north of Dali Ancient City, at the foot of Cangshan Mountain and the shore of Erhai Lake, with Erhai Lake to the east and Cangshan Mountain to the west. In history, nine emperors of Dali became monks in Chongsheng Temple. Chongsheng Temple is called "Tianlong Temple" in Jin Yong's martial arts novel "Tianlong Babu".
