Dalian Nature Museum is a marvelous and magnificent European-style building found on the beachfront of Heishijiao in the southwest of Dalian Xinghai Park. Dalian Natural History Museum exhibits cover geology, paleontology, animals and plants, and the exhibits are very rich in information. Pterodactylus fossils and specimens of Black Right Whales are part of the very rare collections. The number and types of biological specimens and fossils collected by the Dalian Museum of Natural History are among the highest in the country, including many rare and precious exhibits.
