Description
This is the Yamato Hotel during the Japanese occupation, built in 1909. It is a Baroque building in the architectural style of the late European Renaissance, with Ionian buttresses on the facade and an arched canopy at the entrance of the main entrance. In August 1945, the Soviet garrison headquarters in Dalian was established here. On October 27, 1945, the Soviet Army held a meeting of representatives from all walks of life in Dalian in the museum and decided to establish the Dalian Municipal Government, which is now the Dalian Hotel.
