Xianlu Island is located in Nanhai District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province. It is surrounded by Nanxi Chung, Baini Waterway and Liuxi River. It is one of the few "Jiangxin Island" in Guangdong Province. The island has a land area of 7.8 square kilometers and a permanent population of 5,500. people. There are two administrative villages, Xianliao Village and Lugang Village, on the island, hence the name "Xianlu Island".
