The Tianhou Temple is located in the Xunliao Bay Tourist Resort in Huizhou. It was built in the late Qing Dynasty and has a history of more than 400 years. Mazu is a folk god highly admired by people in coastal areas. It is said that whenever someone is in danger in the sea, Mazu can show up to save people. The Tianhou Temple is not big, and most of the tourists who come here are to pray for blessings or pay homage to this ancient temple, and appreciate the Mazu culture of Huizhou people. The historical and cultural commercial street where Tianhou Temple is located has many special products, and there is a food street next to it, which are all worth visiting.
