This modern song and dance theater is located on the east side of the middle section of Quanshan Road in the central urban area, across the street from the Quanzhou Puppet Theater. The entire theater is built on a white stone base, with red brick walls and a sloping roof, fully reflecting the southern Fujian architectural style. The theater is connected to the West Lake Park and Qingyuan Mountain landscape axis. The construction of the Quanzhou Song and Dance Theater started in April 2018, covering an area of ​​20 mu and a total construction area of ​​8,000 square meters. It includes a 498-seat theater, two rehearsal halls, and supporting areas for research, display, production, and office functions. The project will be completed in August 2021.
