The Great Ruyi Sacred Place is located in Xishan Island, Taihu Lake, Suzhou, with misty Taihu Lake of 800 li to the south and Piaomiao Peak, one of the seventy-two peaks in Taihu Lake to the north. It is surrounded by mountains in green-dragon and white-tiger shapes in the east-west direction, embraced on the right and left, and occupies an excellent geographical position. It is a cultural holy place of Buddhism integrating burning incense and worshiping Buddha, landscape scenery, leisure vacation and self-cultivation.
