Shi Family Grand Courtyard is located in the ancient town of Yangliuqing, Tianjin. It used to be the residence of Shi Family, one of the eight prominent families in Tianjin. It was built in the Qing Dynasty. All the buildings here are painted in gray and white, typical north China traditional residences, with many beautiful stone carvings. Another highlight of this Residence is the exhibition. There are many famous Yangliuqing New Year paintings and brick carvings as well as folk wedding customs, clay figurines, folk paper-cuts and other folk exhibitions.
