"Porcelain Courtyard - China Porcelain Art Museum" is a private art museum in Tianjin that uses ancient porcelain as a carrier to tell local stories of Tianjin and promote Chinese traditional culture. The museum is located in the Grand Canal Basin of Xiqing District, adjacent to Yangliuqing Ancient Town, covering an area of ​​1,600 square meters. The original intention of this museum to use "porcelain" as the theme is to let every visitor understand the long history of Chinese culture. This exhibition hall is divided into: Tianjin Development History Area, Tianjin Ten Scenery Exhibition Area, Tianjin Wharf Cultural Promotion Area, Folk Story Inheritance Area in the form of porcelain carving. It uses a brand-new way to show Tianjin's history and local culture, so that tourists from all over the world can understand Tianjin's yesterday and today through microscopic pictures and texts.
The museum is made up of ancient porcelain collected by three generations. The preparation began in 2008 and construction started in 2016. So far, more than 700 million pieces of ancient porcelain from the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties and five famous kilns have been used, and it took 500,000 man-hours. The process of building the exhibition hall reflects the spirit of the great craftsman that is respected. It also adds another unsurpassed porcelain culture and art museum to Tianjin.
