Description
The Seagull Watch Museum, with a construction area of 1,000 square meters, provides tourists with a variety of themed experience activities, such as explaining the history of Chinese watches and Tianjin's industrial development, experiencing the factory production line, trying out watches and parts, and the national watch master craftsman lecture. In 2010, it was selected as the first batch of industrial tourism demonstration sites in Tianjin. In 2019, it was awarded the Tianjin Industrial Tourism Demonstration Base. In 2020, the watch production line was rated as the fourth batch of national industrial heritage projects and was rated as a Binhai Internet celebrity check-in spot. In 2021, it was awarded the title of Tianjin Binhai New Area Enterprise Reform and Opening-up History Education Base. In 2022, it was jointly established by the General Office of the Ministry of Education and the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as an industrial culture special practice teaching base. Since its establishment, the museum has received a total of 130,000 visitors.
