The Tianfei Palace Ruins Museum of the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties is located on Dazhigu Middle Road, Hedong District, Tianjin, covering an area of about 5,800 square meters. The center of the main building of the museum is the foundation of the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasty Hall, surrounded by two floors of exhibition halls. The theme of the exhibition is "Melody of the Ocean", with more than 200 unearthed cultural relics and restored models of ships and buildings related to marine culture and Mazu culture, as well as 300 pictures, showing visitors the practice of marine culture by ancient humans, the origin of Tianjin city, the Mazu cultural phenomenon, and the excavation of ruins.
In the center of the square in front of the museum stands a column-shaped Mazu statue, which symbolizes the mast. It is carved with relief from bottom to top with different marine patterns representing the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. A Mazu statue stands on the top of the column, which is a rare Mazu image designed in the form of a human among sculptures reflecting the Mazu genre at home and abroad.
