-Morning
Start from Jinma Biji Square and admire this landmark building in Kunming. Then stroll along the direction of Nanping Street - Shuncheng and feel the commercial atmosphere of Kunming. On the way, you can visit the small shops on the roadside, such as Crossing-the-bridge Rice Noodles in Jianxinyuan and Qiaoxiangyuan, and Tofu Pudding Rice Noodles in Wangji Snack, and learn about local special products.

Arrive near Zhengyifang Shopping Center. This is a commercial area with many shopping centers for visiting. At the same time, nearby Qianwang Street is transformed from Kunming's old street. Many Ming and Qing dynasty folk houses are restored and open for free. You can go in and experience the charm of ancient buildings.

Have a meal at the food street in the shopping center near Shuncheng and Zhengyifang. There are many choices. For example, you can go to the Dingniu Taiwan Beef Noodle Restaurant on the fourth floor of the south hall of Zhengyifang and taste special noodles.

-Afternoon
Go to Cuihu Lake along the line from Zhengyifang. In winter, you can see the spectacular scene of red-billed gulls flying here for the winter and thousands of birds gathering. Beside Cuihu Lake, visit the former site of Yunnan Military Academy with a history of a hundred years (now a free museum) and learn about its history and culture. Then visit the main campus of Yunnan University and admire buildings such as Huize Courtyard Yangzhi Building with a combination of Chinese and Western styles. The scenery of Ginkgo Avenue is especially charming in autumn.

Walk from Yunnan University to Wenhua Lane. In Wenhua Lane, choose Yunnan restaurants such as Mana and Guozilou to taste local delicacies, or choose exotic cuisines such as Western food and Indian food in Salvador. After the meal, you can rest in many small cafes and bars and feel Kunming's nightlife. After ending the one-day tour, you can choose a nearby hotel to stay according to your own preferences.
