On May 31, 2023, I started a 4 - day trip to Shanghai. It was a solo trip and the average cost per person was about 3000 yuan.
The first experience I participated in was an unknown film journey. I took a film point - and - shoot camera and followed my landlord and experience photographer, Lily, taking pictures as we walked. In the old French Concession neighborhood, there were many unexpected surprises. The roads, rooftops, streets, and even the cats here gave the entire French Concession a unique atmosphere. There was a cat that was very photogenic. No matter from which angle you photographed it, it would arrogantly turn towards the camera, giving a very professional feeling. There was also a magical cat. Although it climbed high, its belly was suspended. Another cat was very good at choosing backgrounds. Of course, I also photographed myself.
The second experience was seeing Shanghai through my lens. I showed up at The Bund at 7 am, wanting to see this magic city from different angles. I saw people doing morning exercises and a kite made by an old grandpa himself. His hands were very skillful. The night and day of The Bund were very different. The night was full of tourists, bustling, while the day was very quiet and had a very local feeling. I also saw the crooked old building and a very harmonious neighborhood. I called it "The neighborhood where Victoria has no secrets" because the neighborhood relationships were very harmonious.
Although there was no Disneyland in this trip to Shanghai, I saw many unique landscapes and had many different experiences.
