I have always been longing for the seaside in Shenzhen. Finally, on a sunny weekend, I started my trip to Dapeng Jiaochangwei and Nan'ao Island in Shenzhen.
My budget is about 800 to 1500 yuan per person, excluding round-trip transportation costs. This budget covers accommodation, catering, and some expenses for entertainment items.
On the first day, I set off from the urban area of Shenzhen early in the morning and drove to Dapeng Jiaochangwei. Along the way, I was extremely excited, imagining the beautiful sea view that I was about to see. After driving for about one or two hours, I finally arrived at my destination. I checked in at Mankeke Seaview Inn. After handling the check-in procedures, I entered the room and was instantly attracted by the beautiful view outside the window. The warm and comfortable accommodation environment made me feel extremely relaxed.
At noon, I came to Chaoxiangge Seafood Restaurant (Jiaochangwei branch). The seafood here is really fresh and delicious. Steamed small spiny lobster with minced garlic is full of garlic fragrance, and the shrimp meat is tender and plump. Stir-fried sea crabs with ginger and scallions are delicious and springy. There are also boiled live prawns, scallops steamed with vermicelli, and so on. The per capita consumption is 47 yuan, which is extremely cost-effective.
In the afternoon, I strolled leisurely on the beach of Jiaochangwei, bathed in the sun, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the beach and the sea. I also experienced water activities such as water bicycles and felt the charm of the sea. The unique architectural style of Jiaochangwei also made me unable to resist taking pictures and checking in. There is a strong literary atmosphere here.
In the evening, I strolled around the night market of Jiaochangwei and tasted special snacks such as grilled squid and fried skewers. The lively atmosphere made me feel a strong sense of fireworks.
On the second day, I drove to Nan'ao Island. Along the way, the beautiful sea view made me feel happy. After arriving at Nan'ao Island, I checked in at Nan'ao Qing'ao Bay Peninsula Holiday Hotel. After putting down my luggage and taking a short rest, I was shocked by the excellent view of the sea-view room.
At noon, I came to Haigang Yuzi Restaurant and tasted the characteristic delicacies of Nan'ao, such as Nan'ao squid, fish and shrimp, Nan'ao abalone, as well as delicious fish head porridge and beef rice noodles. The per capita consumption is about 100 yuan, which is very affordable.
In the afternoon, I came to Qing'ao Bay tourist area and sunbathed, swam, or did beach sports on the white and delicate beach. Then, I visited scenic spots such as the General Military Mansion and Jinyin Island to understand the history and culture of Nan'ao Island.
In the evening, I tasted local seafood feasts such as steamed sea fish and salt and pepper sea shrimp in restaurants on Nan'ao Island. The two-day pleasant trip ended, and I drove back to the urban area of Shenzhen.
This trip made me deeply feel the charm of the seaside in Shenzhen. The beautiful sea view, delicious seafood, characteristic snacks, and profound historical culture all made me linger and forget to return. I am looking forward to my next trip.
