On May 15, 2024, my partner and I started a 4 - day trip to Hangzhou with a per capita cost of 1500 yuan.
On the first day, we took the high - speed rail to Hangzhou East Station and then took the subway to the China Fan Museum. The immersive experience there was very strong. Next to it was the China Umbrella Museum. The rain lane inside was behind an elevator. Although it was beautiful, it was a bit scary. The China Knife, Scissors and Sword Museum was adjacent to the Umbrella Museum and could also be experienced immersively. There was also the China Hangzhou Arts and Crafts Museum next to it. There was less content and I only took pictures of the statues in the hall. At noon, I didn't find any suitable food. After eating a bowl of rice noodles, I went to the Zhejiang Natural Museum. It was very large and the environment was good. There were many children. At that time, there was no subway to Xixi Wetland, so we took a bus to go there. Xixi Wetland was very large. Because we wanted to walk around more, we didn't take a boat. It rained a little while we were walking inside, which was very romantic. There were fewer walking tourists and the ground was a bit slippery because of the wetland terrain, but the climate was mild and it felt very good. In the evening, after coming out of Xixi Wetland, we had dinner at Jiangsu - Zhejiang Cuisine near Intime. The overall dishes were rather sweet and the curried cauliflower was very delicious. Due to the epidemic, the music fountain was cancelled. After walking around in the Most Angel Cultural and Creative Book City, we walked around in Intime and then went back to the hotel. Intime was really large.
On the second day, the weather forecast said that the weather would get better and we planned to go to West Lake. In the morning, we had breakfast at Laoshengchang Soup Dumplings. The taste was mediocre and it was frozen. After eating, we took a taxi to West Lake and first arrived at Bai Causeway. The view on Bai Causeway was wide and on both sides we could go down to the lakeside to see fish. From both sides of Bai Causeway, we could also see the commercial street and natural scenery of Hangzhou respectively. Continuing along Bai Causeway, we passed a branch museum of Zhejiang Provincial Museum that was not open due to the epidemic. Continuing to move forward, there was a Zhongshan Park before arriving at Su Causeway. There was a small path up and down the mountain inside and the scenery was good and not to be missed.
