#Qingdao, #Travel, #Food, #Architecture, #Church
I haven't written a travelogue for a long time. This time, I decided to use a mobile app to write while playing. Since I came back from Chengdu and Chongqing in December last year, I haven't been out for a trip. Every time I planned to go out, something always happened. It has been half a year. Indeed, people need to go out for a walk, otherwise they will get depressed. So I booked my flight tickets and hotel and set off.

The day before departure, there was an orange warning for rainstorm and lightning in Shanghai, which caused most flights to be delayed or cancelled. This also affected our check-in situation on the day of departure. We arrived at the airport an hour and a half in advance, but had to take the emergency passage and ran for a while. Pudong Airport is really too big.

On the first day, we booked a hotel at the Encounter International Youth Hostel on Zhongshan Road. We took the airport bus 702 and it stopped right in front of the hotel. The airport bus in Qingdao sells tickets with ID cards at the domestic arrival exit, and then you go to the corresponding bus for ticket inspection and boarding. You also need to show your ID card when boarding. The ticket is 20 yuan per person, one seat per person, much cheaper than taking a taxi. The hotel is between Zhengxin Chicken Chop and a milk tea shop. The door is not conspicuous, but it is much better than I expected. The front desk girl was very considerate. We arrived early and the room hadn't been vacated yet, but she upgraded us to a family room for free. The room is large and clean, with a very high cost performance. The only drawback is that there is a slight smell in the bathroom, but it is acceptable. The location facing the street is a bit noisy and some details need to be improved.

The weather was beautiful, with clear skies. As soon as we left the hotel, we saw the cathedral and quickly took pictures. There are many people taking wedding photos and sketching at the entrance of the cathedral. I also took a picture. For our first meal in Qingdao, we found the Xianghe Live Seafood Home-cooked Restaurant, which ranked first in seafood on Dianping. It is located right opposite the railway station, a very inconspicuous small restaurant, but with a lot of customers. The price is not cheap, but the taste is good. The garlic-flavored scallops are extremely delicious, with fresh materials and well-cooked, 38 yuan per portion, with about a dozen or twenty scallop meats. The dumpling platter is 38 yuan, with an average taste and can be used as a staple food. The sea intestine stir-fried with leek is 68 yuan, a bit expensive, with too much oil, a strong smell of oil consumption, and the salt is not evenly dissolved. There are quite a lot of sea intestines, but there is no fresh and sweet taste. The spicy squid is not recommended, 48 yuan per portion, with only a few squids, mostly coriander and celery. The squid is fried after being coated with a thin layer of powder and then stir-fried with other vegetables, so it is not tender enough. The boss was very busy, but when we paid the bill, he still remembered to give us Laoshan Cola and a small bottle of Sprite. Laoshan Cola has a cough syrup-like taste and I'm not used to it.

We took the Metro Line 3 to May 4th Square and found that there were police patrols everywhere on the roads in Qingdao. When we asked for directions, we were told that the Olympic Sailing Center was closed and we could only look at it from across the sea at May 4th Square. There is not much to play at May 4th Square. It is just a place to see the sea and mark the tourist spot. Then we immediately went to Badaguan. Badaguan is very interesting. Basically, they are all old European-style garden villas, some are private and some are open to the public. There are towering trees beside the roads. The Princess Tower and the Huashi Tower are more famous and have different styles. The ticket for the Princess Tower is 20 yuan per person. It is not recommended. There is not much to see inside. It is just some photos and decorations of the Danish royal family living here in those years. The exterior of the building and the garden can be photographed for memory. The scenes in the garden are all added later fairy-tale characters. Many people look at the Huashi Tower and the building retains its original flavor. But there were too many people in the queue, so we just took pictures at the entrance. When sisters go out together, there are always endless poses and pictures to take.
