No.405, North Yangzi River Road, Hanjiang District, Yangzhou City
Description
If the Slender West Lake is like a graceful girl, Wuting Bridge is the gorgeous belt on the body. Wuting Bridge is not only the symbol of Slender West Lake, but also a symbol of Yangzhou City. It was built in the 22nd year of the Qing Emperor Qianlong (AD 1757) and has a history of more than 200 years. Wuting Bridge has five wind pavilions with rich southern features, and the tall straight wind pavilions appear similar to five lotus flowers. There is a pavilion with a ceiling that is beautifully painted, and a wind chime that is hung outside the pavilion. The bridge piers of the Wuting Bridge are made of bluestone to form a thick and powerful "work" shaped bridge foundation.
