Chen Garden in Yangzhou was invested and built by Yangzhou folk collectors. After ten years, ancient houses were transported back from Anhui, Shanxi and other places, and reassembled into a garden in Yangzhou. Chen Garden is based on the former residence of Gao Xiang, the only Yangzhou native (Ganquan) among the "Eight Eccentrics of Yangzhou", and is based on Yangzhou culture and the legend of the Eight Eccentrics. The architecture features the integration of Hui and Yang styles. It is mainly divided into two parts. One is the East House, called the "Salt Merchants' Dream Garden", which is mainly a museum that faithfully reproduces the life of salt merchants; the other is the former residence and West Garden of Gao Xiang, one of the Eight Eccentrics of Yangzhou.
