Wu Daotai House is a private residence built by craftsmen from Zhejiang that was modeled on government building in Ningshao Taidao and Ningbo's Tianyi Pavilion and combined with the architectural style of Yangzhou. The residence is a rectangular courtyard and has a large size, refined structure, delicate carvings and good conditions. Based on the rules of construction in Zhejiang and combining with Yangzhou's traditional architectural style, it is a unique residential complex among ancient buildings of Yangzhou and also one of the three famed residences in regions south of the Yangtze River.
