Description

The Twenty-Four Bridges Attraction includes Xichun Terrace, Linglongjie, General Xiao Li's Painting Book, Wangchun Tower and Twenty-Four Bridges. Xichun Terrace is the main building of the Twenty-Four Bridges Attraction. It is far away from Xiaojin Mountain and both are located at the turning point of the lake. It is also one of the "Twenty-Four Scenic Spots" of Yangzhou, "Spring Terrace Bright Moon".

The word "Xichun" comes from Laozi's "The crowds are bustling, as if ascending the Spring Terrace". It refers to the prosperous scene of people coming and going in front of Xichun Terrace. According to legend, Yangzhou salt merchants once celebrated the birthday of Emperor Qianlong here, so this scene is also called "Chuntai Birthday Celebration".

The architectural style of Xichuntai reflects the grandeur and magnificence of the royal gardens. All buildings are made of green glazed tiles, which contrast with the vermilion doors, windows and pillars.
