Penglai Ocean Polar World (formerly Penglai Ocean Polar World) is a national 4A-level tourist Attraction with an exhibition area of more than 60,000 square meters. It brings together nearly 100 species of marine life from all over the world, including polar bears, beluga whales, penguins, walruses, sea lions, dolphins, etc. It integrates viewing, entertainment, fun, marine culture, and marine technology. Through a combination of dynamic and static methods, it allows people to learn more about marine knowledge and enhance awareness of ecological protection. It has been awarded the "Provincial Popular Science Education Base" by the Shandong Association for Science and Technology and the "National Popular Science Education Base" by the Chinese Society of Oceanography.
The Attraction has twelve theme pavilions: Tropical Rainforest Pavilion, Polar Pavilion, Whale Bay, Underwater Tunnel, Underwater Theater, Ocean Boutique Pavilion, Turtle Pavilion, Shark Pavilion, Seal Island, Jellyfish Pavilion, Science Museum, Ocean Theater. Two major performances: Underwater Theater: Mermaid Show, Ocean Theater: Dolphin and Sea Lion Show.
In the tropical rainforest pavilion, the cascading waterfalls, tall and dense jungles, and ferocious crocodiles will bring you into a mysterious and thrilling world. Through the time tunnel, you will reach the Polar Pavilion. In the white ice and snow world, polar bears, beluga whales, penguins, walruses, and sea lions live freely. In the underwater theater, mermaids shuttle through the colorful ocean kingdom, which is breathtaking. In the cylindrical tank, the multi-shaped submarine tunnels make visitors seem to be in the blue sea, and the marine life that is close at hand seems to be within reach, and the beautiful underwater world is in full view.
The Shark Pavilion, Seal Island, Turtle Pavilion and the mysterious and gorgeous corals will allow you to experience a different kind of ocean! In the Dolphin and Sea Lion Performance Pavilion, the funny sea lions and smart dolphins will give exciting performances, which will make you feel the wisdom of marine animals!
