Yantai Botanical Garden is located in the middle of Laiyuan Road, Laishan District, south of Donggou Village. It is a large botanical garden in Yantai, integrating plant viewing, leisure and entertainment, tourism reception, science education, and flower exhibition and festival functions. Laiyuan Road is in the middle of the botanical garden, which is divided into two major parks, the east and west. The west area is mainly composed of various specialized gardens, and the east area is mainly composed of natural mountain landscapes.

Yantai Botanical Garden has four functional areas, namely the botanical garden viewing and display area, the urban farm group area, the botanical garden forest leisure area, and the public building group area. It is not only a plant kingdom, but also a large-scale youth science popularization base, a place for carrying out various plant-themed activities, knowledge lectures for young people, and botany and horticulture courses.
