Zhongshan

Zhongshan has a long and storied history. In the past, it was known as "Xiangshan". Later on, the name was changed to memorialize Dr. Sun Yat-sen. He is widely considered the greatest citizen ever produced by this city. There are several sites in Zhongshan that memorialize Dr. Sun Yat-sen, including the Former Residence and Memorial Hall of Sun Yat-sen, the Sun Yat-sen Gardens and Zhongshan Movie & Television Town.
