Description
The body unearthed in the Mawangdui Han Dynasty Tomb in Changsha in 1972 was named Xin Zhui, the wife of Li Cang, the prime minister of Changsha State in the early Western Han Dynasty. It caused a sensation, but the reason people were shocked was not that another cultural relic was unearthed, but that this female corpse had not decayed after more than 2,000 years. This female corpse of the Western Han Dynasty, known as the "Sleeping Beauty of the East", provided a unique medical model for the medical community.
