Qingdao Guoxin Stadium, formerly known as Qingdao Yizhong Stadium, is located in Qingdao Sports Center. Located at the northeast foot of Fushan Mountain, it is adjacent to Fushanhou Residential Community in the northwest and connected to Haier Road in the east. It is a newly built large-scale comprehensive sports venue in Qingdao City and was built in 1998. Guoxin Stadium was once the main stadium for the Qingdao Yizhong Hainiu Football Team, one of the teams in the Chinese Football League A. The 2002 Chinese Football Association Cup League Finals were held here. It also witnessed the Qingdao Yizhong Hainiu team winning the Football Association Cup. It has also hosted many cultural performances, star concerts, and opening ceremonies of festivals such as the Qingdao International Beer Festival and the Qingdao Ocean Festival. It is now the main stadium for the Chinese Football Association League A and Qingdao Huanghai Football Club. Guoxin Stadium covers an area of ​​180,000 square meters and can accommodate 60,000 spectators. A giant canopy with a membrane tension structure is built above the stadium, covering all the seats in the stadium. This structure is a new type of structural system in the world and a perfect combination of new architectural membrane materials and computing technology. There is a football training field in the stadium, and the field and the surrounding area are covered with lawns, which are grass seeds introduced from the United States. The venue can host five large-scale football matches per week.
