People’s Park in downtown Chengdu was built in 1911. It is a nice place for locals to chat with tea. You can really experience the “slow life” of the Chengdu people here. After coming to the People's Park, go to the teahouse in the park like the locals. You need a cup of tea that the locals love to drink, and then enjoy the sun while emptying your mind or join the mahjong with a few good friends.
