The total planned area of Shawan Dishuiyan Forest Park is 7,290 mu, and the area of ecological public welfare forest is 6,121.5 mu. There are mainly masson pine forest, wetland pine forest, mixed coniferous and broad-leaved forest, acacia forest, eucalyptus forest, mixed broad-leaved forest, bamboo forest, etc. The average forest canopy closure of the Dishuiyan woodland can reach 75%, and the vegetation coverage can reach 95%. In front of the park is the Dishuiyan Bird Nature Reserve. Since the establishment of the reserve in 1997, it has become a paradise for birds and wild animals. Now the park has gray herons, egrets, owls, monkey-faced eagles, tits, yellow warblers, hairy Chickens and other birds, the spring water in the small reservoir garden is clear and sweet, and a small reservoir has been built artificially above the Dishui Rock. The area of Longwan gushing water within the planned area is 712.5 mu, where water flows through the overflow all year round. The water stream goes down and flows continuously, forming a small pool at the foot of the mountain below the dripping rock, and the water is as clear as a mirror. At sunset in the reservoir, the water surface reflects sunlight, and the scenery is pleasant.
