The Guangdong Provincial Museum, located in Pearl River New City, is intriguingly shaped just like a treasure chest. The complex features a history museum, art gallery and natural museum that all display the history and culture of Guangdong Province, its localities and its residents. The collections in the museum are as numerous as they are varied. Among them is a gorgeous collection of paintings and porcelain art from the Lingnan Painting School and exquisitely crafted Chaozhou wood carvings.
