It consists of the main peak Yuejinggang and the surrounding Panlonggang, Guihuagang, Changyaogang, Liyutougang and other 7 hills and 3 lakes (Nanxiu Lake, Dongxiu Lake, Beixiu Lake). The entire Yuexiu Park covers a total area of 860,000 square meters. Yuexiu Mountain was a strategic location on the sea in ancient times. Zhenhai Tower was built on the top of the mountain, which is now one of the city symbols of Guangzhou.
