Description
Xiangxue Park is located in Luogang Town, Baiyun District. The "Luogang Xiangxue" in the Eight Sceneries of Yangcheng refers to here. The park is surrounded by mountains and ridges, stretching for dozens of miles. At the end of each year, when the plum blossoms are in full bloom, the mountains and fields are full of flowers like snow, blowing in the wind, which is quite spectacular. In addition to appreciating plums, the monuments here are also worth mentioning. There is Luofeng Temple under Luofeng in the park, and Yuyan Academy next to Luofeng Temple, which houses the inscriptions and book carvings of famous people after the Song Dynasty. There are mainly the inscription of "Loyalty, Filial Piety and Honesty Festival" by Song Confucian and Zhu Xi, as well as the four woodcuts of quatrains handwritten by Wen Tianxiang, and the bamboo carvings of Zheng Banqiao in the Qing Dynasty, which add a lot of cultural atmosphere.
