The Longyin Rock and Longyin Cave stone carvings under the jurisdiction of Guihai Beilin Museum are one of the most typical places for Guilin stone carvings. There are 213 existing cliff stone carvings, including 1 from the Tang Dynasty, 111 from the Song Dynasty, 1 from the Yuan Dynasty, 42 from the Ming Dynasty, 26 from the Qing Dynasty, and 32 from unknown periods. The earliest stone carving is the "Azalea Flower Poems" by Zhang Jun and Liu Chonggui in the first year of Qianning in the Tang Dynasty (894).
