Description

Buni Terraces Jiawu Waterfall is located in the northeast of Sishui Township, Longsheng County, 26 kilometers from Longsheng County and 115 kilometers from Guilin. The Attraction is 400-1600 meters above sea level. The total area is nearly 1,000 acres. The main landscapes are flower terraces, high mountain waterfalls, Sangjiang River, and ethnic minority folk culture.

The Attraction combines "strange, dangerous, secluded and beautiful" and is displayed to the world. It was built in the Yuan Dynasty and completed in the early Qing Dynasty, with a history of more than 650 years. During the long years, people's strong will to survive in nature, and their wisdom and strength in understanding nature and building their homes are fully reflected here. The magical Jiawu Waterfall, the simple and intelligent Hongyao people, the gorgeous and ever-changing Buni Terraces; the mountains and waters, the mellow folk customs, have created the beautiful scenery of Buni Terraces and Jiawu Waterfall.

There are many beautiful attractions here: Sangjiang River, which is the upper reaches of Xunjiang River, a tributary of Liujiang River, a tributary of Xijiang River in the Pearl River system. Its ancient name is Beizi Creek. Its main stream is mainly in Longsheng County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It starts from the source of Xunjiang River and ends at Longsheng County.

The Sangjiang River tributary in the Attraction area attracts numerous tourists from home and abroad with its clear and pure water quality, surrounded by towering green peaks, clouds and fog, gurgling streams, and beautiful scenery with birds singing and monkeys crying. The colorful flower sea terraces and the Buni terraces reclaimed by the Sishui Hongyao follow the terrain of the mountains and adapt to local conditions. They reclaim large fields on gentle slopes and small fields on steep slopes. They even reclaim fields in the stone crevices under the ditches. Therefore, the large terraces are several acres, and the small ones are only as big as a winnowing basket. The Buni terraces, which stretch for nearly a thousand acres, are reflected by colorful clouds as the sun shines. The colorful layers of terraces are surrounded by hopeful green, which is colorful and beautiful.
