Description
Nine Creeks in the Misty Forest are commonly called "Nine Creeks and Eighteen Caves". They are located just below the crest of Jiguan (Cockscomb) Hill to the west of West Lake. The nine creeks merge and flow together until they form a Y-shaped brook. The name "Nine Creeks in the Misty Forest" comes from the thick mists that descend on the forested slopes of the nearby Bajue (Eight Senses) Mountain after every rain storm. The entire valley is filled with fog that wreathes the trees in an intoxicatingly beautiful way. This is also the place where authentic Shiling Longjing Dragon's Well tea comes from. It is a wonderful place to enjoy tea with friends and family in a beautiful and iconic setting.
