The Liaoning Grand Theater is located on the east side of Shenyang Municipal Plaza. It is fully functional with a large theater, a small theater, a movie hall, a multi-functional hall, a restaurant, a bar, a rehearsal hall, an actor apartment and an underground parking lot. Among them, there are 1,276 large theaters, which are used to stage ballet, opera, symphony, large-scale variety shows and operas and other artistic performances; the small theater has a total of 300 seats, which can perform small theater plays, musicals and chamber music performances. The large and small theaters all have two-story stands, and the proportion between the stands on each floor is determined according to the harmony of visual and auditory structures. The stage of the Grand Theater is wide, and the orchestra pit in front of the stage can accommodate a large band of 100 people. The rotating, lifting, and retractable giant stage and better lighting and sound all represent the high level of performance theaters in Liaoshen area. In addition, various rehearsal halls, scene-making rooms and dressing rooms of different sizes are suitable for rehearsal performances by various domestic and foreign art groups.
