Across the river between Hanyang Guishan and Wuchang Snake Mountain in Wuhan
Description
The Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge is the first bridge built on the Yangtze River in China. It was built on the Snake Mountain in Wuchang and the Snake Mountain in Hanyang. Because this was a project supported by the Soviet Union, it has a strong Russian style and is sturdy and magnificent. If you are interested, you can walk across the river from the approach span near the Yellow Crane Tower or the south gate of Guishan Park. The whole journey takes about an hour. Alternatively, you can take an elevator up directly from the head of the bridge and then walk across the bridge. Observing the different scenery of Wuhan's three towns on the bridge deck is a completely different experience.
