The Dujiangyan Rose Valley is closely linked to the construction of rural complex. It utilizes woodlands, forest parks and water systems to create "one zone, two belts, eight gardens and ten valleys", creating a functional service area, a waterfront sightseeing belt and a hiking trail sightseeing belt, as well as eight rose-themed sightseeing gardens of ancient rose gardens in China, Britain, France, Italy, Japan, Germany, the United States and the world, as well as ten valleys including the landscape plum forest and Podocarpus Valley.
