The Haoyue Garden is a statue garden commemorating the hero, Zheng Chenggong. The Ming-style architecture and the landscape perfectly merge together. Zheng Chenggong’s giant granite statue sits on the Fuding rock, standing against the sword stone and the stamp-shaped stone in the sea. A large group sculpture "Fighting against enemies with vine-made shields" is erected in the square. It vividly reproduces the spectacular scene of Zheng Chenggong's commanding the army in order to defend Taiwan from Dutch invaders. In addition, the South Stele Corridor and the North Stele Corridor, which are based on Zheng Chenggong’s stories, reproduce his heroic stories from different angles.
