Yunding Mountain is located in the north of Tong'an District, Xiamen City, in Tingxi Town, Tong'an District, and connects with Anxi County and Nan'an County. There is a boundary monument on the mountain. There are often clouds and mists on the top of Yunding Mountain, hence the name Yunding Mountain. In winter, the temperature on Yunding Mountain is generally about 5 degrees lower than that below the mountain. When there is a cold wave affecting Xiamen, the temperature on Yunding Mountain is generally below minus three degrees. There is often frost on the mountain. Yunding Mountain covers an area of about 9 square kilometers. It runs north-south, and is gentle in the south and steep in the north. It is composed of granite porphyry. There is a "Three Realms Monument" on Yunding Mountain, which is not only a place for tourists to climb and search, but also a place with profound cultural accumulation. Every year from the end of March to the beginning of April, the rhododendrons bloom all over the mountains and plains, which is a good place for people to enjoy the beautiful scenery and explore the humanities.
