The Fangshan Tangshan National Geopark Museum in Jiangning, Jiangsu is located within the Tangshan National Geopark. The park is generally devoted to geological research, popular scientific education and cultural tourism. It comprises the Nanjing Homo Erectus Fossil Site cultural tourism complex and the awesome Time Tunnel. The museum takes its audience through the evolution of life based on the geology of Tangshan in an interpretation of geological change and evolutionary change in humanity. The museum includes a recreation of the original, living environment of our human ancestors in Nanjing, explicating how this mysterious and magical land has nourished human genes and culture.
