Furong Garden is located on the west side of Huaqing Pool Scenic Area, at the former site of Tanghuaqing Palace. It is an important part of the Five Great Cultural Scenic Areas of Huaqing Pool. The center of Furong Garden is Furong Lake. The north boundary of the garden reaches the west entrance plaza of Huaqing Pool, the south boundary reaches Longevity Palace, the east boundary reaches Jiuquhuilang, and the west reaches Tianbao Garden of the Huaqing Yutang Hotel. Furong Garden takes the theme of the love story between Tang Xuanzong and Yang Guifei, which took place in Huaqing Palace. The garden contains many scenic spots where parts of the love story unfolded and maintains the appearance of Tang Dynasty at its finest. The Huaqing Pool, similarly, matches the garden and has many relics from the period.
