Description
The Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum is located in the Xi'an Mass Art Museum at the intersection of Huancheng South Road and Wenyi North Road in Xi'an City. Although the museum is not large, it has a wealth of exhibits. The museum collects more than 20,000 works and tools provided by more than 1,000 folk artists and inheritors in Xi'an, including semi-finished products, raw materials, and graphic materials. The museum exhibits the brick carving model of Daming Palace made by brick carving artist Wang Tailai, which is scaled at a scale of 300:1, and the carving is very fine; there are traditional paper-cuts, embroidery, kites, dough sculptures, clay sculptures, doll whistles and nuclear carvings, etc.; The Guo family's "Yundui" is made of a wide range of materials and has a unique shape; the miniature model of Huxian Shehuo is also unique. Here you can see many old objects that are hard to find in modern life, such as spinning wheels, wheelbarrows, bellows, straw sandals, granaries, guide cars, blacksmiths and ancient paper-making tools. The large-scale Guanzhong clay sculpture group "Memories of Guanzhong" displayed in the museum is shocking. There are more than 1,300 clay sculptures with different expressions, as well as more than 100 poultry and livestock, as well as labor tools, farm yards, chicken coops, horse hitching stakes, and operas. There are more than 30 kinds of buildings and shops, which are breathtaking.
