Description
The Temple of the Earth was the place where the emperor perform sacrificial rituals during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It corresponds to the Temple of Heaven. The buildings in the altar are all square in shape. The Temple has many ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, as well as places for offering sacrifices and items on exhibit. You can come here to learn more about the processes of the worship. Every autumn, many people also come here to admire the yellow leaves of the ginkgo, which is very suitable for photography.
