Yexian Tower Scenic Area is located in the northeast of Miyun County, Beijing. The Attraction covers an area of 1,150 acres and includes two parts: Yexian Tower Forest and Yexian Tower Park.
The main building of the Attraction, Yexian Tower, also known as "Ye Tower Fairy Lantern", was first built in the Liao Dynasty. It has experienced many disasters and reconstructions in history. The Yexian Tower we see now was rebuilt in 2001 and is known as "One of the Eight Scenic Spots Outside Yanjing". The tower is about 12 meters high and octagonal in plan. The tower body is divided into upper and lower floors. The tower body has brick-carved false windows and brick-carved floral decorations, which are very exquisite.
In addition to the Yexian Tower, there are also the Changshou Pavilion, Puzhao Temple, Jingshui Guanyin, Music Fountain, Kuixing Pavilion, Sanxian Cave, Alien Stone, Main Hall, Water Purification Bottle, Cultural Wall, Wishing Pool, Auspicious Pavilion, Ten Thousand Buddha Hall and other landscapes in the scenic area.
