Description
The China Garden Museum is located in the Garden Expo Park. It is a museum with garden as its theme. The museum covers an area of 65,000 square meters and is divided into three parts: the main building, the indoor exhibition garden and the outdoor exhibition area. When you enter the museum, the first thing you see is the giant panoramic sculpture of the Old Summer Palace facing it. On the left is the Chinese Ancient Garden Hall, and opposite it is Suzhou Changyuan. On the left of Changyuan is the Chinese Modern Garden Hall, followed by Lingnan Yuyin Mountain House and the World Famous Garden Expo Hall. The museum is divided into exhibition halls 1 and 2 on the right, and the multi-function hall and the Four Seasons Hall behind. The second floor is the Yangzhou Pianshi Mountain House, the Garden Interactive Experience Hall, the Chinese Gardening Skills Hall, the Chinese Garden Culture Hall and the temporary exhibition halls 3 and 4. The outdoor exhibition area of the museum is divided into the northern waterscape garden-Taying Villa, the northern flat garden-Half Acre Pavilion and the northern mountain garden-Danxia Villa. Taying Villa uses Yingshan as the background, combined with artificially constructed water systems, buildings and plants to form a northern waterscape garden. In the distance, the Yongding Tower is reflected in the water, and the reflection is interesting. Banmu Pavilion is a partial reconstruction of Banmu Garden, a representative northern private garden in Gongxian Hutong (now Huangmi Hutong) in the original inner city. Ranxia Mountain House combines the terrain, landforms and plants of the eastern slope of Yingshan Mountain to build a northern mountain garden, which is particularly magnificent under the sunset. The museum has launched a digital museum. Visitors can roam the Chinese Garden Museum in 3D with just a click of the mouse. The museum also holds some special exhibitions from time to time.
