The Civil Aviation Museum is a professional museum of civil aviation. It is located at No. 200, Civil Aviation, Beijing Capital Airport Side Road. It covers a total area of 284 acres and has a total construction area of 21,980 square meters. The Civil Aviation Museum has collected a large number of collections, including Li-2, C-46, Il-14, Yunqi, Airbus A310-200, etc., which reflect various models used by my country's civil aviation in different periods. The museum also collects documents and materials on major historical events such as the hump flight, the "Two Airlines" uprising, the "August 1st" sailing, and the Lhasa sea trial. The Civil Aviation Museum has the functions of display, education, popular science and leisure. The museum is equipped with a flight simulator to provide visitors with flight experience services. The multi-functional theater includes 3 theaters (1 IMAX giant-screen theater, 1 film theater, and a digital theater) to provide visitors with popular science education, leisure and entertainment services.
