The National Alpine Skiing Centre is located in the south of Xiaohaituo Mountain in the northwest of Yanqing District, Beijing. It is the competition venue for downhill, slalom, giant slalom, super giant slalom, all-around and team events in 2022. The National Alpine Skiing Centre covers an area of ​​432.4 hectares, of which the construction land is about 6 hectares and the building area is about 43,000 square meters, of which the outdoor building area (cantilevered corridors, platforms, stairs, etc.) is about 11,000 square meters. The building area is 43,200 square meters. The National Alpine Skiing Centre has 3 competition ski slopes, 4 training ski slopes and other connection ski slopes and technical ski slopes. The total length of various ski slopes is about 23.1 kilometers, and the vertical drop is about 925 meters. The entire site is approximately rhombus-shaped. The highest point at the top is Xiaohaituo Peak (2198.38 meters), which extends to the southwest and southeast along the ridge line from this peak, and the bottom converges at the upper mouth of Foyukougou (1238 meters). The entire terrain is composed of valleys that converge from the Xiaohaituo Peak in the northeast to the southwest corner of the valley. The altitude difference is about 960 meters. The mountain slopes are mostly above 40%. It adopts a single venue model and a decentralized layout. Two finish areas, racing and competition, are set up in the competition area. It is the core area serving the event, with multiple functions such as competition finish line, spectator viewing, event organization, and traffic distribution.
