Description
Wangfujing Catholic Church is one of the four major Catholic churches in Beijing. Wangfujing Catholic Church is a Roman architectural style church, which is a model of the integration of Chinese and Western architectural styles. Although it is in a busy city, it has not diminished its holy temperament in the slightest. During the festival, I sometimes pass by the Wangfujing Catholic Church inadvertently, and the strong sound of the electric organ and the sunshine-like singing of the choir will come out from inside, rippling in the winter air. After the renovation of the northern section of Wangfujing Street in Beijing, the original wall surrounding the mysterious church was demolished, attracting everyone's attention. The gray European-style spire buildings are more and more mysterious because of their ancient times, and the newly paved front square is surrounded by green trees and has a richer humanistic color. Against the backdrop of the surrounding modern buildings, Wangfujing Catholic Church has become a new attraction on this street. The square in front of the church has been paved, and there are seats on both sides of the square for pedestrians to take a nap.
